Our board is made up of members of our community with a broad base of experience in education, business and community services. We are actively engaged in our community and we participate in many community events throughout the year. We currently hold memberships in the Comox Valley and Campbell River Chambers of Commerce, Volunteer Comox Valley, and the Association of Service Providers for Employability and Career Training (ASPECT).

Our Board operates using the Carver Policy Governance model of board governance.

Creative Employment Access Society (CEAS) is inviting applications for new Board Members.

Our society is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who are elected each fall at our Annual General Meeting. We are looking for:

• People prepared to commit to 3 hours per month
  
• People who want to be associated with a professional organization that has a long-standing reputation for high standards of client service

• People who are interested in working with the Carver model of Board Governance

You bring:
Team work, energy and commitment
The ability to present and discuss ideas both at Board meetings and within the community
Experience in a field such as business, education, employment training, health care, social services or human resources.

A resume or outline of your employment and volunteer activities would be appreciated. Our Annual General Meetings are held in November, and that is when the new Board positions begin.
